Medicare Advantage Explained

Medicare Advantage is an alternative to Medicare that is sold to consumers by private for-profit enterprises.  Like any corporate product, it has its pros and cons.  Medicare Advantage is not for everyone. Younger, healthy seniors can receive additional benefits above and beyond original Medicare with zero premium.

However, this is only half of the story. While everything they hype is true; they avoid filling you in on the downside of their products. If you only understand the pros and not the cons, you cannot really make a good decision other than to buy what is being sold and hope for the best.
